Armando Pensado is an experienced software engineer with 20 years of experience developing business applications and has been responsible for developing complete cycles of financial and academic institutions. His professional experience extends to the world of computers and electronics applied to medicine.

 

During his professional activities in Mexico (1987 – 1998), he participated in technology projects for the ICA Group, and into control systems using real-time projects for institutions such as the Federal Electricity Commission, Metro Transit system of Mexico City and a simulator to train pilots for Aeromexico. He designed control system for sugar mills, and the incorporation of emerging technologies of CAD / CAM / CAE  in industrial companies own group ICA. Using his knowledge in information technology, he collaborated with two high-profile universities  into improving their operation. During 1996-1998, he served as the Director of Information Technology at Universidad Latina de America. He has participated as an advisor to the Ministry of Education and Prentice Hall publishing house in Mexico.

 

At the end of 1998 he was invited to collaborate on projects in the United States of America (USA). By the summer of 1999 serving as the leader in software re-engineering efforts for the management and property management  for  California Financial Processing Systems. By 2006 Armando was involved in computer-related activities of the fusion of Western Financial Corporation and Wachovia Bank. Since 2007, he has collaborated with Wachovia and is now part of the efforts in the merger of Wells Fargo and Wachovia banks.

 

During 1987-19998, was awarded for science projects (Mexican Society of Physiological Sciences and the IEEE Student Congress-ULSA) and collaborated on publications on biomedical engineering while working in the computer lab and digital signal processing at his alma-mater (University Autónoma Metropolitana-Iztapalapa 1998-1987). During his career, has contributed to multiple publications in engineering forums and has been invited as a speaker at conferences in Mexico and the USA.
