Technology is one of the substantive areas of The Talent Network, Mexico’s government program under which TECMA operates. We believe that Mexicans must look into the future and that TECMA has the essential purpose of assisting in the creation of high-tech projects that originate in Orange County with their main destination in Mexico.

Mexico has devoted significant resources to education in science and The Technology Committee of TECMA must find ways to promote modern science and technology into Mexico and partners in Orange County. We have the advantage of being neighbors and partners in one of the world powers of science and technology. Let us not lose sight of that. Not only that, the United States and Mexico have signed important agreements for the promotion and exchange of science and technology and it is more and more common to see Mexicans taking part in major research centers throughout the United States.

This committee will promote research projects, industrial trade, investment, grants and business exchanges, with the help of experts on these topics which are fundamental to the development of high technology programs.

The committee is divided by the time three sectors, not mutually exclusive but complementary. Aerospace, automotive electronics and energy. New subjects will open as the program develops.

The Technology Committee is run by three leading professionals: José Luis Rodríguez, automotive engineer, Luis Velasco with NASA and Armando Pensado,  industrial engineer. The three are invested in the responsibility of giving life to projects of high industrial value in strategic areas of Orange County.
